CANCELATION POLICY

Please be courteous! Availability is limited. We require a 24 hour notice when canceling an appointment to avoid being subjected to a 50% charge of the service cost. Same day NO CALL, NO SHOW clients will automatically be charged for 100% of their missed appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to know the date and time of their appointment. However, we send reminders as a courtesy to help. Clients agree to these terms when booking an appointment with Authentic Ambiance.

All clients are required to fill out an intake form before your service provider can move forward with sessions that have been booked. We recommend arriving to your appointment early to ensure you receive the full time of your service. All services received at Authentic Ambiance are given by licensed and professional massage therapists.

Full Body Session

  • Full body massage for clients who are simply looking to relax, unwind, and reduce stress. The main goal of this service is simple and designed to promote relaxation by getting the blood flow and circulation to increase. This treatment session is performed by a licensed massaged therapist with a light to medium pressure. This is a form of massage that uses less pressure than a deep tissue massage. However we recommend booking a deep tissue massage to relieve discomfort and pain.

  • Full body massage primarily suited to reduce scar tissue, chronic pain, muscle and/or sports related injuries. Deep tissue sessions are subjective and customized to your individual needs. In a deep tissue session we use the maximum pressure you’re comfortable with to treat muscle tension where you need it most. Everyone has pain in different places and clients can handle various amounts of pressure! Let us know if it’s too much or not enough pressure at anytime during this session!

  • Full body massage performed by a certified prenatal massage therapist that is similar to a Swedish massage for expecting mothers. Prenatal Massage can help you have an easier delivery, not only because it can reduce your overall stress level but also because of how well it can keep your muscles toned and relaxed in advance of the start of labor. Studies show that women reportedly had shorter hospital stays, shorter labors and less incidence of post-natal depression when receiving massages.

Focus Work Session

  • Focused work session for clients with TMJ or chronic jaw pain. In most cases the pain and discomfort caused by TMJ can be relieved with self care like massage and stretches. Your pain may be due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, arthritis and/or jaw injury. TMJ can cause pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement. In this session we will mainly focus on your jaw with some added neck work. You’ll leave feeling more relief than you ever imagined possible!

  • Focused work session for upper body ONLY. Over 700,000 Americans have desk jobs! One of the main impacts of desk workers’ pain is due to bad posture. In this session we will work on your upper body only with heavy focus on neck, shoulders, and back. We will work on the back for the first half of the session, then add Bio-freeze covered with a steamy hot towel for a tingly sensation before finishing with neck and shoulder concentration.

Energy Healing Session

  • Promotes healing and relaxation. We will use Reiki: an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch improving the flow and balance of your energy to promote healing. We will address specific intention before the session begins. Client will be fully clothed during this treatment session.

This treatment begins with 20 minutes focused on neck and shoulders followed by 30 minutes of Reiki. We’ll end with 10 minutes of scalp massage. You won’t want to get up by the end!
